From 1848 through 1894 Charles Luke Keith Jr. (or Luke, as he was better known) kept a diary. While I do not have the diaries (or photocopies) from every year, my mother and I were able to make photocopies of about 25 of them. I also have several of his daughter Nancy’s (my great-grandmother) diaries as well as one from Nancy’s husband, Henry Brown, three from Luke’s son Ethan and one from his granddaughter Bess Brown. Only a few have been transcribed but I will attempt to work on those over the years and post them as often as I can. Please feel free to contact me if you are able to identify any of the unidentified people, or with any questions you might have. I welcome your comments.
